5.2lb yard rail is a durable flat bottom rail with a prototypical crowned rail head of 15mm. It has the capacity to support heavier 7¼”locomotives, yet fine enough in section to suit standard scale models, including 5" gauge.

The rail is supplied in standard 4m lengths, and a roller gauge is recommended for the installation of long tracks, although manual gauging can be used for shorter lengths.

This rail profile is compatible with the following Sleeper and rail fixing.

All plastic sleepers and rail fixings in the PNP Railways range are manufactured from high-grade engineering polymers that are extremely durable and resistant to rot, frost, and UV radiation. UV stabilizers are added to the base polymers to help prevent UV radiation degradation and extend the life of the products.
