Bar Rail Chair (12mm x 30mm Rail)

'Bar Rail Chair', manufactured from a high-grade engineering polymer. The sleek and compact design embodies many full-size features, making it the perfect choice for constructing your railway.

Compatible with readily available 12mm x 30mm and 10mm x 20mm black mild steel bar, this chair can be paired with either our plastic 7¼" gauge sleepers (PNR-12i) or wooden or recycled plastic sleepers. For added convenience, our Bar Rail Chair features built-in automatic gauge widening when used with our sleepers.

Assembly is very easy - just push the bar into the chair, locate the chair onto the sleeper, and screw it down.

With our bar rail system, you have plenty of options to create a customized railway that suits your needs. We have put together 5 different track configurations in 7¼" and 5" gauge, that you can select between the heavier 12mm x 30mm bar or the lighter 10mm x 20mm option or a combination of the two.

Our 12m Kits include the exact number of sleepers, chairs and screws needed to build a 12-meter section of track with bar rai in 7¼" or 7¼" & 5" narrow gauge. This takes the guesswork out of calculating what you need, and ensures that you have everything required to start building your railway.

Please note that the black mild steel bar is not included as part of the kit. However, it can be easily sourced from your local steel stockist, such as https://www.metals4u.co.uk/materials/mild-steel/mild-steel-round-bar. It is available in 3 & 6m lengths.

All plastic sleepers and rail fixings in the PNP Railways range are manufactured from high-grade engineering polymers that are extremely durable and resistant to rot, frost, and UV radiation. UV stabilizers are added to the base polymers to help prevent UV radiation degradation and extend the life of the products.
